Jennifer started her own training with The New Hampshire School of Ballet under the direction of her aunt Suzanne Taylor,
whose mother Lena Taylor founded the school in 1965. Jennifer studied and performed with the school for eighteen years and
joined the "NH Ballet Ensemble" dance company from 1987-1989.  Jennifer also went on to compete in the Miss New Hampshire
Scholarship Program winning Third Runner-up, 2nd Runner Up, all the community service awards and Overall talent. Today,
Jennifer continues to choreograph and judge for the pageant system.
In 1989, Jennifer purchased The New Hampshire School of Ballet from her aunt and proceeded to carry on the family dream of
bringing quality dance training to students in New Hampshire. She is an accomplished teacher and choreographer whose
students have won many regional and national titles as well as over-all high score awards, title competitions,  auditions and
college scholarships.
Many of her students have obtained professional careers as dancers with Busch Gardens, Royal Caribbean and Disney Cruise
ships, Tokyo Disney, Chase Brock Dance Company, Parsons Dance Company in NY, Beauty and Beast National Tour, Radio
City
.Rockettes, New York City lead “Billy” in the Broadway hit show “Billy Elliot”, national Tour of Joseph and the Amazing Technicolor Dreamcoat and National Tour of
Flashdance. Currently she has two graduated students on the national tour of Finding Neverland, a graduate with the American Contemporary Ballet and Charlotte Ballet
Company.  Jennifer has been a certified teacher with DMA since 1991 and has served on the board of directors for Chapter 5 New England for many years  and is
currently serving as Vice President. . She continues to open the door for her students by directing and choreographing several productions of Nutcracker each year,
teaches master classes throughout New England and adjudicates dance competitions throughout the U.S and Canada both regionally and nationally. She also writes for
the dance magazine “Dance Studio Life” and resides in Hooksett, NH with her husband and 2 daughters Skylar and Riley.
Mary Beth Marino
Tap Company Choreographer
Teaches Tap, Jazz, and Ballet
Hampshire School of Ballet from 1991-1995.  After graduating from NHSB, She went to the University of New Hampshire, where she was a
member of the UNH dance company.  She received her BFA in Dance, with a minor in business, in 1999.   While there, she received four
scholarships for dance and was awarded the prestigious Jean Mattox Scholarship for excellence in dance her final year.  She completed a
teacher workshop at Broadway Dance Center in 2006 and 2009.

Mary Beth currently is a full time lecturer at the University of New Hampshire teaching jazz, tap and dance history.  She is an adjudicator on
the regional and national level for Dance Xplosion National Talent Tour.  She currently choreographs for the NHSB Dance Company, The
Portsmouth School of Ballet Dance Company and the University of New Hampshire Dance Company.  Mary Beth lives in the Seacoast area
with her husband and new daughter, Audrey.
Kate Spencer
Teaches Ballet , Jazz, Lyrical
Kate Spencer started dancing at a young age and has been teaching dance for the last 14 years. She graduated
from the University of NH with a BS in Business and Dance Emphasis. Kate has been coaching cheer and
choreographing competition cheer routines for the last 16 years. Her cheer teams have won many state, regional
and national championship titles. She was the Cheer Director for the youth cheer program in Bedford for 7 years.
Kate has 17 year old triplets. She is excited to be teaching at NHSB again this year and can't wait to share her love
of dance with the NH School of Ballet dancers.

Co-Artistic Director for NSquared Dance, partnering with Artistic Director, Nick Neagle. NSquared Dance is a New York City based
contemporary dance company. With NSquared Dance, Zackery has toured to Seattle, Detroit, Philadelphia, Pittsburgh & Baltimore. He
has set various works of choreography on the company as well as taught in various cities with NSquared. As a member of NSquared
Dance, Zackery enjoys working side by side with his husband and being able to share many stages and performances with him! Zackery
is also a seasoned dancer with Keigwin & Co. a prestigious New York City dance company.  Keigwin & Co. has given Zackery many
performing & teaching opportunities throughout the United States and Abroad. He was fortunate enough to embark on a month long
exchange tour to Africa with , Zackery received his Bachelor of Fine Arts in Dance from Marymount Manhattan College with a
concentration in Jazz. Mr. Betty is the Co-Artistic Director for NSquared Dance, partnering with Artistic Director, Nick Neagle. NSquared
Dance is a New York City based Keigwin & Co. with additional thanks to The US State Department and Brooklyn Academy of Music. He
has performed on stages such as the Joyce Theater, Symphony Space, and New York City Center. He has also been a member and
guest dancer with Tami Stronach Dance, Project 44, & City Ballet of Boston. Currently Zackery resides in New Hampshire where he
teaches, coaches, and choreographs locally.

Natalie Brankin
Teaches : Ballet
Manchester native Natalie Brankin received her early dance instruction at the New Hampshire School of Ballet where she was on
the competition team for two seasons.  She has studied at dance studios throughout the New England area including Boston Ballet
School’s Adult Dance Program and has attended professional development through the Dance Life Retreat Center.  Natalie has
been a student of dance for over thirty years and has taught dance locally for nearly twenty.   As New Hampshire’s Junior Miss in
1998, Natalie competed in the America’s Junior Miss Program in Mobile, AL.  Natalie also held the title of Miss Rockingham County
in 2004 and went on to place first- runner up at Miss NH.  Natalie received her BA in Mathematics from Saint Anselm College and
her Masters in Education from Providence College. Natalie has taught all levels of dance from age 2 through adult.  She lives in
Manchester with her husband and three children.  Miss Natalie is excited to begin another wonderful year at NHSB!.
Cassie Bertolino
Teaches : Hip Hop
Cassie has danced throughout New England from a young age of 3. After graduating high school, she decided to follow her
hip hop passion and moved to Los Angeles, California, to further her education. There she trained under the best in the
industry at the prestigious millennium dance complex, Debbie Reynolds dance studio, IDC Studios and Edge Performing Arts
center. While residing in Los Angeles, she shot a commercial promo for the TV show  “dance your ass off” and two music
videos for Desmond Meeks and Collabo. She returned back to New England after a few years and began teaching. It was
then that she discovered her passion of passing along her love of hip hop. She has choreographed top award winning
routines throughout New England at competitive levels. She continues to strive to stay current in her dance education by
attending conventions and conferences to be the best she can be for her students. She believes she is lucky and is grateful
to do what she loves to do on a daily basis and to light the fire that was lit for her in others.
Kiera St.Laurent
Teaches: Ballet , Tap, Lyrica;
.Kiera St. Laurent graduated Summa Cum Laude from the University of Hartford with a Bachelors of Science in Elementary
Education. Originally a part of the Hartt School Ballet and Pedagogy Program, a knee injury sidelined her dance career
plans, and she was able to continue her love of teaching by transferring into the education program. Currently she works
for Barnstead Elementary School as a reading specialist.
Her dance training began when she was four years old and continued through high school and part of college. Her ballet
training over the years has allowed her to become familiar with Balanchine, Cecchetti, and RAD technique methods. During
this time, her main instruction was at New Hampshire School of Ballet with Director Jennifer Beauvais-Rienert. At NHSB she
was given the opportunity to dance lead roles in their annual Nutcracker including Arabian, Lead Marzipan, Snow Queen,
Dew Drop Fairy, and Sugar Plum Fairy. She was also given lead roles in their annual evening of dance including Rizzo in
Grease and Snow White in Snow White. She was also a member of their dance competition team for nine years. During this
time her solos and duo/trios often placed within the top five at National Dance Competitions. She was also a member of
NHSB’s numerous group numbers, winning top scores throughout the competition year and Nationals.

Kiera has also had the opportunity to work with outstanding instructors in the dance field.  She was also a part of Boston
Dance Company’s Performance of The Nutcracker working with founders James Reardon and Clyde Nantais. While in the
Hartt School, she worked with the Division Director of Dance, Stephen Pier, as well as top faculty members, Hilda Morales,
Ralph Perkins, Katie Stevenson-Nollet, and Nina Watt. In college she was able to expand her knowledge of modern and
contemporary dance exploring Graham, Horton, and Limón technique. At Ballet North, she works as a company
choreographer and teaches ballet, tap, jazz, contemporary, lyrical, character, and modern.
Kayla Shepherd Lopez
Teaches:  Pre-School, Ballet, Pointe, Tap, Jazz

Kayla has studied dance for twenty five years and spent much of that time as a student at NHSB. She has always loved the
discipline required by ballet and her favorite roles included Sugar Plum Fairy, Odette and Carlotta (Phantom of the Opera).
Kayla attended Summer Intensives at Burklyn Ballet Theatre, Paul Taylor Dance Company and Steps on Broadway and
went on to pursue her BFA in Dance Performance at the Boston Conservatory. While completing her M.Ed at Bank
Street College of Education in NYC she taught in the NYC public schools, became certified in Little Flower Yoga and furthered
her study of Pilates. Kayla has returned home to Hooksett, NH where she lives with her husband and their 2 daughters, Clara +
Rosalie . She loves teaching children of all ages as well as adults and is thrilled to be back with NHSB.
                                                                                 Ashley   Dancause

Ashley began dancing at the age of three and spent much of that time training at New Hampshire School of Ballet. She spent six
years as part of their competition team and won many awards. During her time at New Hampshire School of Ballet she
performed in the Nutcracker for many years. Ashley is trained in many genres of dance including Ballet, Pointe, Jazz, Lyrical,
Contemporary, Modern, and Tap. After graduating from New Hampshire School of Ballet, Ashley continued her dance training at
Dean College. She had the privilege of training under Jill Silverman, Laura Young, Gregory King, and Bryan Steele. She was
also part of Dean Colleges Pointe and Modern Companies and performed in numerous shows. At Dean Ashley studied Dance
History, Rhythmic Analysis, Dance Composition, Dance Anatomy, Creative Movement, and Pedagogy. After receiving her
Associates of Art in Dance degree in 2012 she went on to study Mental Health at Southern New Hampshire University where she
received her Bachelors of Science Degree. Ashley enjoys continuing her dance education and has attended many Dance
Teacher Seminars at the Dancelife Retreat Center. Ashley has been teaching in the New England area for the past five years
and is looking forward to spreading her knowledge of dance where her training began.
                                                                      Nicole M Baron
                                                  Teaches: Ballet, Jazz, Lyrical, Leaps & Turns

Nicole is a Manchester, NH native who began her dance training at age 13. After years of competitive
gymnastics training she found her love of dance at a local studio where she recently returned as the lead
Acro instructor. Nicole possesses experience in a wide range of dance styles including jazz, tap, ballet,
modern, lyrical, pointe, hip-hop and contemporary. She is a graduate of Point Park University with a
Bachelor’s of the Arts in Dance Pedagogy and a concentration in Jazz Dance. While at Point Park Nicole
was able to study and work with renowned teachers and choreographers including Ron Tassone, Kiesha
Lalama White, Jason McDole, Ron Hutson, Susan Stowe, and Jill Lazzini. In addition, Nicole is a certified
Acrobatic Arts instructor which focuses on balanced and safe acrobatic training specifically designed for
dancers. With her knowledge, training and passion, Nicole wishes to inspire her students to find their own
love for dance.
                                                                       Sidney Calvagna

Hi, I’m Sidney! I grew up dancing at Melissa Hoffman Dance Center. Dancing has always been a passion of mine,
but tumbling will always hold a special place in my heart. I teach tumble two nights a week at MHDC, and I’m also a
student at NHTI for Dental Hygiene, I’ll be graduating in the May of 2020. I look forward to meeting all of you, and I
can’t wait to  spend time teaching and getting to know everyone!

Sam grew up locally and has been dancing since the age of three. She is a graduate of the
University of NH with a dual BA in French and Theatre with Dance Emphasis and also has her
Masters degree in Education from Southern NH University.
Having passed all ballet examinations through the advanced level in her RAD study, she has earned
her ARAD from the Royal Academy of Dance in England.

She has danced for many local companies including Ballet New England, the Portland Ballet
Company, the New England Dance Ensemble, the UNH Dance Company, and the Portsmouth Ballet
Company. Samantha is excited to be teaching again this year at NHSB.
                                                     Kasey Harisiades
                                             
Teaches; Tap, Ballet, Jazz, Lyrical
Kasey has been dancing since the age of three with New Hampshire School of Ballet. Throughout
her years there, she studied all genres of dance and was a devoted member of the competition
team for eleven years. Kasey also performed in many Nutcracker performances including ones with
major roles such as the Snow Queen and Clara. After graduating from NHSB, Kasey  received her
Bachelors of Science in Exercise Physiology. She now juggles her two jobs as a Personal Trainer
and an Exercise Specialist in Cardiac Rehab. Although Kasey did not pursue a career as a dancer,
she still shares  her passion through choreography for the competition team and now as a teacher,
at the same studio it all started from!
