Jennifer Beauvais-Rienert
Owner/Director
Ballet, Jazz, and Pointe Company Director and Choreographer , Teaches Ballet, Jazz, Pointe, Lyrical and Adagio



Jennifer started her own training with The New Hampshire School of Ballet under the direction of her aunt Suzanne Taylor, whose mother Lena Taylor founded the school in 1965.

Jennifer studied and performed with the school for eighteen years and joined

the "NH Ballet Ensemble" dance company from 1987-1989. Jennifer also went on to compete in the Miss New Hampshire Scholarship Program winning Third Runner-up, 2nd Runner Up, all the community service awards and Overall talent.

Today, Jennifer continues to choreograph and judge for the pageant system. In 1989, Jennifer purchased The New Hampshire School of Ballet from her aunt and proceeded to carry on the family dream of bringing quality dance training to students in New Hampshire. She is an accomplished teacher and choreographer whose students have won many regional and national titles as well as over-all high score awards, title competitions, auditions and college scholarships. Many of her students have obtained professional careers as dancers with Busch Gardens, Royal Caribbean and Disney Cruise ships, Tokyo Disney, Chase Brock Dance Company, Parsons Dance Company in NY, Beauty and Beast National Tour, Radio City, Rockettes, New York City lead “Billy” in the Broadway hit show “Billy Elliot”, national Tour of Joseph and the Amazing Technicolor Dreamcoat, National Tour of Flashdance and two graduated students on the national tour of Finding Neverland. Presently she has a graduate with the American Contemporary Ballet, Charlotte Ballet Company, Washington Ballet and on a tour of Cats.


Jennifer has been a certified teacher with DMA since 1991 and has served on the board of directors for Chapter 5 New England for many years and is currently serving as Immediate Past President. . She continues to open the door for her students by directing and choreographing several productions of Nutcracker each year, teaches master classes throughout New England and adjudicates dance competitions throughout the U.S and Canada both regionally and nationally. She has also written numerous articles for the dance magazine “Dance Studio Life” and resides in Hooksett, NH with her husband and 2 daughters Skylar and Riley.



Mary Beth Marino
Tap Company Choreographer
Teaches Tap, Jazz, and Ballet





Hampshire School of Ballet from 1991-1995. After graduating from NHSB, She went to the University of New Hampshire, where she was a member of the UNH dance company. She received her BFA in Dance, with a minor in business, in 1999. While there, she received four scholarships for dance and was awarded the prestigious Jean Mattox Scholarship for excellence in dance her final year. She completed a teacher workshop at Broadway Dance Center in 2006 and 2009.


Mary Beth currently is a full time lecturer at the University of New Hampshire teaching jazz, tap and dance history. She is an adjudicator on the regional and national level for Dance Xplosion National Talent Tour. She currently choreographs for the NHSB Dance Company, The Portsmouth School of Ballet Dance Company and the University of New Hampshire Dance Company. Mary Beth lives in the Seacoast area with her husband and new daughter, Audrey



Holly Charest
Teaches: Ballet, Jazz, Modern, Lyrical





Holly grew up in Hooksett, NH where she started her dance career at the age of 3 and graduated from NH School of Ballet. She has had many opportunities to train with teachers and choreographers around the nation. Holly has a very strong background in ballet, jazz, lyrical, contemporary and modern and extensive knowledge and exposure to the world of competitive dance. Holly also participated in young choreographer and won high scores for her choreography in high school. Holly graduated from Point Park University in Pittsburgh, where she earned her Bachelor of Arts in Dance with a double concentration in Ballet and Jazz. While at Point Park, Holly had the privilege to study with many amazing teachers and choreographers and performed in “Under-wear” by Pearlann Porter, “The Bench” by Kiesha Lalama-White, and “Faculty Show” by Ron Tassone. Holly is now judging both regional and national dance competitions, and loves seeing the different style and talent around the United States. Holly has an extensive amount of teaching experience and looks forward to inspiring and encouraging each of her students to find the love of dance the way she has.



Jessie Jeanne Stinnett
Teaches : Ballet, Contemporary, Modern, Improv





Jessie Jeanne Stinnett is a dance teacher, choreographer, and co-artistic director of Boston Dance Theater (BDT). She was featured in the November 2020 and January 2021 editions of Dance Magazine and BDT was listed on the prestigious "25 to Watch” list for 2021. Jessie received a BFA in Dance Performance from The Boston Conservatory and an MFA in Creative Practice: Dance Professional Pathway from Trinity Laban Conservatoire, in conjunction with Independent Dance/Siobhan Davies Dance. She has performed for the Metropolitan Opera, Tate Britain (UK), Prometheus Dance, Institute of Applied Systems Analysis (Vienna), The Boston Baroque Opera, and Bard College’s SummerScape Festival. Her choreographic work has been described by Hannah Chanatry of WBUR as “conceptually driven performance that unpacks the complexities of being female, and pushes the academic boundaries of choreography.” Jessie’s work has been sustained in part by grants from The Boston Foundation with support from The Barr Foundation, New England Foundation for the Arts, Assets4Artists at MASS MoCA, Combined Jewish Philanthropies, The Boston Foundation, and Fidelity Charitable. Some of Jessie’s recent teaching and choreography credits include: Boston Ballet School, Dean College, Keene State University, Providence College, Endicott College, Goethe Institut Boston, Emerald Necklace Conservancy, and Emmanuel Music. Jessie is the recipient of the 2020 Boston Dancemakers Residency grant award and was the 2020 Choreographer in Residence at Boston Center for the Arts and Boston Dance Alliance.



Nicholas Masson
Teaches : Hip Hop





Nick has been dancing and acting for just over two decades with a decade of teaching and choreography experience. He’s most notably known for his role as Mush in the Movie “Newsies” where he also toured with the same company for a year and a half. Nick has danced for NBC, Dabang National Tour, and Telemundo just to name a few. Most recently Nick was seen in the hit Broadway show “The Prom: Musical” where he made his Broadway debut. Nick currently Choreographs across the country for a plethora of studios and company’s and is a Competitive Coach at Palaestra Gymnastics in Derry NH.



Kiera St.Laurent
Teaches: Ballet , Pointe





Kiera St. Laurent graduated Summa Cum Laude from the University of Hartford with a Bachelors of Science in Elementary Education. Originally a part of the Hartt School Ballet and Pedagogy Program, a knee injury sidelined her dance career plans, and she was able to continue her love of teaching by transferring into the education program. Currently she works for Barnstead Elementary School as a reading specialist. Her dance training began when she was four years old and continued through high school and part of college. Her ballet training over the years has allowed her to become familiar with Balanchine, Cecchetti, and RAD technique methods. During this time, her main instruction was at New Hampshire School of Ballet with Director Jennifer Beauvais-Rienert. At NHSB she was given the opportunity to dance lead roles in their annual Nutcracker including Arabian, Lead Marzipan, Snow Queen, Dew Drop Fairy, and Sugar Plum Fairy. She was also given lead roles in their annual evening of dance including Rizzo in Grease and Snow White in Snow White. She was also a member of their dance competition team for nine years. During this time her solos and duo/trios often placed within the top five at National Dance Competitions. She was also a member of NHSB’s numerous group numbers, winning top scores throughout the competition year and Nationals.n a daily basis and to light the fire that was lit for her in others.


Kiera has also had the opportunity to work with outstanding instructors in the dance field. She was also a part of Boston Dance Company’s Performance of The Nutcracker working with founders James Reardon and Clyde Nantais. While in the Hartt School, she worked with the Division Director of Dance, Stephen Pier, as well as top faculty members, Hilda Morales, Ralph Perkins, Katie Stevenson-Nollet, and Nina Watt. In college she was able to expand her knowledge of modern and contemporary dance exploring Graham, Horton, and Limón technique. At Ballet North, she works as a company choreographer and teaches ballet, tap, jazz, contemporary, lyrical, character, and modern.



Megan Nordle
Teaches: Ballet, Jazz





Megan was a student at New Hampshire School of Ballet for 10 years. As a member of NHSB’s competition team, she was a regional champion in both junior and senior categories, and went on to become a nationally recognized dancer. At the age of 16, Megan became a DMA chapter 5 pageant scholarship winner, earning the title of Dance Masters of America’s Teen Miss Dance of New England in 2002, later placing in the top 10 finalists at the national championship. She was nominated as the Young Choreographer of the Year by American Dance Awards in 2005, and became the national champion at Headliners Dance competition, holding the title of National Miss Dance 2005. Megan went on to earn her BFA in Modern Dance Performance, with a Masters Emphasis in Choreography from The University of the Arts in Philadelphia, where, on top of her extensive dance training in all genres, she took additional studies in Pilates, Yoga, Athletic Psychology, Pedagogy, and Human Anatomy. Immediately following graduation, she became a professor at the PA Leadership Charter School of Performing and Fine Arts. Megan then moved to NYC to pursue her calling to perform. For almost a decade, Megan worked as a professional dancer and figure skater in NYC. In her early years, she was a company member with Maverick Dance Theater showcasing original choreography at the APAP|NYC conference, Blue Muse Dance performing in an immersive outdoor work performed on the Pulaski bridge crossing Brooklyn to Queens, NY, and a soloist with DOTA Dance Theater producing works entirely through film and media. Professional highlights include background dancer for K-Pop star ‘Wheesung’, performing in Macy’s Thanksgiving Day Parade with Gwen Stefani, performances at Lincoln Center’s “Out of Doors” festival with Mark Dendy Dance and Theater in 'Ritual Cyclical', co-choreographing and performing in an original off-broadway musical by William Moulton 'R/Evolution', performances with renowned choreographer Jacqulyn Buglisi and Buglisi Dance Theater for the internationally broadcast “Table of Silence” tribute to 9/11 at Lincoln Center, and performing in an an international commercial for the LOTTE Group based in South Korea.



Sidney Calvagna
Teaches: Acro





Hi, I’m Sidney! I grew up dancing at Melissa Hoffman Dance Center. Dancing has always been a passion of mine, but tumbling will always hold a special place in my heart. I teach tumble two nights a week at MHDC, and I’m also a student at NHTI for Dental Hygiene, I’ll be graduating in the May of 2020. I look forward to meeting all of you, and I can’t wait to spend time teaching and getting to know everyone!



Nathan Duszny
Teaches: Ballet, Jazz, Lyrical,





Amelia Tsecaris has been dancing since the age of two and is an alumni from New Hampshire School of Ballet. She is from New Hampshire but is a recent graduate of the University of Rhode Island studying speech language pathology. She is a member of Liv3lihood, a professional dance crew outside Providence RI. When not dancing herself, she enjoys teaching dance and choreographing. She’s trained in ballet, pointe, jazz, lyrical, contemporary, modern, tap and hip hop, and loves to share her passion of dance with others.



Samantha Brown
Teaches Ballet, Jazz, Lyrical, Tap





Sam grew up locally and has been dancing since the age of three. She is a graduate of the University of NH with a dual BA in French and Theatre with Dance Emphasis and also has her Masters degree in Education from Southern NH University. Having passed all ballet examinations through the advanced level in her RAD study, she has earned her ARAD from the Royal Academy of Dance in England. She has danced for many local companies including Ballet New England, the Portland Ballet Company, the New England Dance Ensemble, the UNH Dance Company, and the Portsmouth Ballet Company. Samantha is excited to be teaching again this year at NHSB.



Megan Smith is excited to return to the teaching staff this year. She has been part of NHSB for more than 30 years, first as a student, then as a teacher and choreographer. Megan earned her Bachelor’s Degree in Theater and Dance from the University of New Hampshire and works full time at Southern New Hampshire University. Outside of work and teaching, she enjoys spending time with her family, cheering on her kids, and supporting their many activities.

Megan is grateful for the opportunity to share her lifelong love of the arts with the next generation of dancers.
