Jennifer started her own training with The New Hampshire School of Ballet under the
direction of her aunt Suzanne Taylor, whose mother Lena Taylor founded the
school in 1965. Jennifer studied and performed with the school for eighteen years and
joined the "NH Ballet Ensemble" dance company from 1987-1989. Jennifer also went
on to compete in the Miss New Hampshire Scholarship Program, winning such local titles as
Miss Manchester and Miss Plymouth State Fair. In 1988, Jennifer won Third
Runner-up in the Miss New Hampshire Pageant. In 1989 she won all the community
service awards, won talent, and placed Second Runner-up. Today, Jennifer continues
to choreograph and judge for the pageant system.
In 1989, Jennifer purchased The New Hampshire School of Ballet from her aunt and proceeded to carry on the family dream of bringing quality dance training to students in New Hampshire. In 1990, Jennifer started an annual tradition by producing The Nutcracker for audiences in Manchester and then later expanded to Concord. All performers are New Hampshire School of Ballet students. With falling snow and a twelve foot growing Christmas tree, audiences marvel at this professional production and are delighted at the quality of dance demonstrated. During this same time period, Jennifer began her own performing Company and Competition Teams, which have taken countless first place and high score awards at regional competitions like Headliners, American Dance Awards, StarQuest, Dance Masters of America, and North American Ballet Festival competitions. Her students have won numerous awards such as Junior, Miss, Teen, and Mr. titles at the local and national level, as well as Dancer of the Year. Jennifer's choreography has also won numerous awards for outstanding choreography. She has been certified with "Dance Masters of America" since 1991, and has been on the Board of Directors for the New England chapter for the last three years. Jennifer continues to open doors for her students through workshops and auditions, and teaches master classes throughout New England. Jennifer is married and has two children. |
Mary Beth Marino

Mary Beth has studied dance at various studios throughout Manchester NH, New York, and Boston MA. She completed her studies at The New Hampshire School of Ballet from 1991-1995. After graduating from NHSB, She went to the University of New Hampshire, where she was a member of the UNH dance company. She received her BFA in Dance, with a minor in business, in 1999. While there, she received four scholarships for dance and was awarded the prestigious Jean Mattox Scholarship for excellence in dance her final year. She completed a teacher workshop at Broadway Dance Center in 2006 and 2009. Mary Beth currently is a full time lecturer at the University of New Hampshire teaching jazz, tap and dance history. She is an adjudicator on the regional and national level for Dance Xplosion National Talent Tour. She currently choreographs for the NHSB Dance Company, The Portsmouth School of Ballet Dance Company and the University of New Hampshire Dance Company. Mary Beth lives in the Seacoast area with her husband and new daughter, Audrey. |
Nicole
Bailey
Teaches Ballet and Jazz

Nicole was a student of NHSB until graduating from high school. She attended the University of Massachusetts at Lowell where she graduated with a bachelors degree in Exercise Physiology. She also was member and Choreographer of the dance team there. Nichole has been part of the NHSB staff since 2001. She is currently a Diagnostic technician in the Non-Invasive Cardiology department at Southern New Hampshire medical Center and is practicing to become a Cardiac Sonographer. She is also a Karate instructor and is training for her black belt. She was Married in 2006 and has two dogs. |

Caryn
Miller
Teaches Ballet, Jazz And Tap

| Caryn Miller has
been dancing for over twenty years and has been teaching dance for more than
ten
years. She received her early training at Charlotte Klein Dance Center
and was in the dance company from 1994-1997. She has received recognition for her
choreography at regional and national competitions of Dance Ovations and
choreographed the winning routine for Junior Miss Global Dance
International. Caryn also choreographs for our competition teams. Caryn earned her B.S. in Elementary Education a the University of Hartford and her M. Ed. in Elementary Education at Anna Maria College. She currently is a 5th grade teacher in Hollis, NH. When Caryn is not teaching little ones she spends time with her husband, daughter Sydney and son Jake. This will be Caryn's 6th season teaching at New Hampshire School of Ballet and she loves passing along her joy of dance to all her little dancers. |
Kayla
Parcells
Teaches Tumbling

Kayla Parcells is currently
a level 9 competitive Junior Olympic gymnast. She trains at Granite
state Gymnastics Center in Bow NH. Kayla has e been a member of the J.O. team and program for 11 years and doing gymnastics for 13
years. She first started with her grandmother who is currently the
head coach of the Summit Sumies gymnastics team in NJ. She has been
coaching for the past 4 years, on both a recreational level and J.O.
-and the past three summers has coached in New Jersey for the Summit
gymnastics team and worked at the Connection WYMCA gymnastics camps
in Summit New Jersey.
During the year Kayla teaches recreational gymnastics at Granite State. She is a 17 year old resident of Henniker NH and attends John Stark High school where she started a high school gymnastics team. Kayla is thrilled to teach tumbling classes at NHSB and to work with students who are eager to achieve their goals. In her classes students will learn the basics as well as having students set goals of what skills they wish to achieve on an individual basis. For some this will be cartwheels, others back-handsprings. There will also be a conditioning part to the class to help with core strength which will help their dancing and overall fitness. |
Natalie
Brankin
Teaches Ballet & Tap

Manchester native Natalie Brankin
received her early dance instruction at the New Hampshire School of
Ballet under the direction of Jennifer Rienert where she was on the
competition team for two years. Over the years she has studied with
numerous teachers and studios in the New England area including the
Adult Ballet program through the Boston Ballet. Natalie has been a
student of dance for over twenty years and has taught dance locally for
over ten. |
| Angela Conte has been dancing for most of her life. She attended Roger Williams University and earned a BA in Dance Performance Studies and Visual Arts. She recently had her choreography performed at the Kennedy Center for the Performing Arts in Washington DC for the American College Dance Festival’s National Gala, one of just 30 pieces selected from around the country. She was also selected to participate in The Emerging Artists concert at Green Street Studios in Cambridge MA in 2009. She has been a guest artist at Roger Williams University and Colby Sawyer College to create pieces for their dance concerts; And is currently a part of the NADINE (New Artists Dance In New England) Project. Angie has been teaching various styles for many studios in the area and has received many choreography awards, including a Diamond Choreography award from ADA. She is so happy to be back at NHSB for her second year! |
Samantha Brown
Teaches Ballet and Tap

| Samantha Brown grew up
locally and has been dancing since the age of three. She is a graduate
of the University of NH with a dual BA in French and Theatre with Dance
Emphasis and also has her Masters degree in Education from Southern NH
University. Having passed all ballet examinations through the advanced level in her RAD study, she has earned her ARAD from the Royal Academy of Dancing in England. She has danced for many local companies including Ballet New England, the Portland Ballet Company, the New England Dance Ensemble, the UNH Dance Company, and the Portsmouth Ballet Company. Samantha is excited to join the NH School of Ballet this year teaching ballet and tap. |

Meghan White
has been dancing since the age of two and has been
teaching for nine years. She trained locally and was
part of the competition team at her studio. Meghan
received numerous high scores and titles during her
training including, "Ms. Sophisticated 2002". She
performed at Walt Disney World twice with her studio
as well as receiving first Runner-Up and winning the
talent portion for the Pre-Teen America Scholarship
Program. Meghan also trained with The Royal Academy
of Dancing and received 1st place at their National
Competition two years in a row. In 2005 she became a
dancer for the Manchester Wolves football team.
Since Meghan has been teaching, her dancers have
received many high scores, judges awards, and
National Titles. This is Meghan's first year with
NHSB and is excited to be working with all the
talented dancers as well as the other staff members
to provide a positive dance experience for you and
your dancer!
Meghan is the owner of Dance & Things Boutique and is opening a store locally in the fall. She has 2 boys and resides in Goffstown with her family. |
